In celebration of International Women’s Month, NMB Bank Plc has introduced Jasiri, a new platform designed to empower women across Tanzania by creating opportunities for dialogue, financial learning and business growth.
At the centre of the Jasiri initiative is the “Orange Couch”, a symbolic space that represents connection, learning and opportunity for women. The platform aims to bring women together to share ideas, build confidence, strengthen their financial knowledge and expand their businesses.
Through the Orange Couch conversations and engagements, women entrepreneurs, professionals and aspiring business leaders will have access to valuable insights, networking opportunities and practical guidance to help them grow their ambitions and succeed in their ventures.
Speaking about the initiative, NMB Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ruth Zaipuna, welcomed women across the country to take part in the platform and benefit from the opportunities it offers.
She emphasized that the Orange Couch provides a welcoming environment where women can openly exchange ideas, learn from one another and unlock new possibilities for personal and business growth.
The Jasiri platform reflects NMB’s continued commitment to supporting women’s economic empowerment and strengthening the role of women in Tanzania’s economic development.
