Dar es Salaam - Airtel Tanzania, the Smartphone Network, has announced the launch of ‘Airtel Smartphone Double Data’ for all smartphone customers.

All existing Airtel customers who plan to upgrade their Feature phones or Smart Phone can now enjoy DOUBLE DATA on all weekly and monthly data bundles for the next 6 months, when they log in with their NEW SMART PHONE on Airtel.

All other Smart Phone Users can purchase a New Airtel connection and also enjoy this offer. The offer is valid if their smart phone is being used for the first time on the Airtel network. This gives an opportunity for other customers to experience Airtel superfast 4G network spread across all major towns of Tanzania.

The offer gives customers DOUBLE DATA on weekly and monthly data packs for all bundle purchases over the next 6 months. To opt-in to the offer, new smartphone customers will be required to dial *149*99#, select option 5 (Internet) and then option 6 (Smartphone Offer) to activate. After successfully opt in, a customer will receive double data on purchasing 7-days’ or 30-days’ pure data bundles for the next six months starting from the date the customer activated the offer.

Airtel Smartphone Double Data will have the same validity period as the data bundle purchased and bonus data is only available on the device that activated the offer.
