PUMA ENERGY BRINGS PRIS AND ELITE CARD CLOSER TO CUSTOMERS THROUGH AIRPORT SERVICE STATION ACTIVATION

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, 9 October 2026: Puma Energy Tanzania is stepping up efforts to connect more customers with its PRIS loyalty programme and Puma Elite Card through a customer engagement activation at Puma Airport Service Station, highlighting how customers can earn rewards, simplify fuel payments and gain greater control over their spending.

The activation forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness and encourage participation in its customer-focused solutions, giving motorists and other customers an opportunity to understand the benefits available when purchasing products across Puma Energy’s retail network.

Through PRIS, the digital loyalty programme launched in Tanzania in May 2026, customers can earn points on qualifying purchases, including fuel, lubricants, gas and products purchased at Shop Express outlets. Accumulated points can be redeemed for available rewards, allowing customers to benefit from their everyday purchases.

Alongside PRIS, Puma Energy offers the Puma Elite Card, a prepaid fuel card designed to help individuals, families and businesses manage fuel expenditure more conveniently. Customers can load funds onto the card and use the balance to purchase eligible products, including fuel, lubricants and gas at participating Puma locations. The card is accepted at more than 80 Puma stations and affiliated outlets across Tanzania.

Speaking during the activation, Puma Energy Tanzania Managing Director Fatma Abdallah said the company continues to explore ways to make its products and services more valuable to customers while strengthening their relationship with the brand.

“Our customers are at the heart of our business, and we continuously look for ways to make their experience with Puma more rewarding and convenient. Through PRIS, customers can earn rewards from qualifying purchases, while the Puma Elite Card provides a practical way to manage fuel spending. By bringing these solutions closer to customers, we want more people to understand the benefits available to them and how they can make the most of them,” said Ms Abdallah.

She added that customer expectations continue to evolve, making it important for businesses to provide solutions that combine convenience, innovation and tangible value.

“We want every interaction with Puma to offer something meaningful to our customers. Whether they are looking to earn rewards through PRIS or manage their fuel expenditure through the Elite Card, our focus is on providing solutions that respond to their everyday needs. This engagement gives us an opportunity to connect directly with customers, answer their questions and help them understand how these solutions work,” she said.

At Puma Airport Service Station, the activation provides an opportunity for customers to engage with Puma representatives, learn more about the two offerings and understand how to access their respective benefits. The initiative is intended to encourage greater awareness and use of the solutions while bringing Puma Energy’s customer proposition closer to the people it serves.

Puma Energy Tanzania Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs Emmanuel Bakilana said providing relevant solutions for customers is an important part of building lasting relationships and strengthening confidence in the brand.

“Customer needs differ, and our approach is to provide solutions that respond to those needs. PRIS gives customers an opportunity to earn and redeem loyalty points, while the Elite Card supports convenient payments and better control of fuel expenditure. By increasing awareness of these options, we want customers to make informed choices about the solutions that best suit them,” said Mr Bakilana.

He added that Puma Energy will continue to strengthen customer engagement across its retail network by making information about its products and services more accessible and helping customers understand the value they offer.

The activation coincides with Puma Energy Tanzania’s participation in Customer Service Week 2026, providing an opportunity to recognise customers while highlighting practical ways the company is working to improve their experience.

However, the company’s commitment to customer engagement and value creation extends beyond the week, forming part of its ongoing efforts to respond to customer needs through innovation and convenient service solutions.

Since PRIS was introduced in Tanzania in May 2026, it has added a digital loyalty option to Puma Energy’s retail offering, complementing existing solutions such as the Elite Card. Together, the two offerings serve different customer needs: PRIS rewards qualifying purchases, while the Elite Card enables customers to preload funds and manage eligible fuel-related spending.

Through the customer engagement activation at Puma Airport Service Station, Puma Energy aims to demonstrate how these solutions work, bring their benefits closer to customers and encourage more people to explore the services available across its retail network.

As the company continues to strengthen its customer proposition, its focus remains on providing solutions that deliver greater convenience, meaningful value and a more rewarding experience at every stage of the customer journey.
