Speaking in Dar es Salaam, former Miss Tanzania 2000, entrepreneur and founder of Dr. Ntuyabaliwe Foundation, Ms. Jaqueline Mengi said she was inspired to bring together past winners and participants of the Miss Tanzania beauty pageant to raise funds for a worthy cause.
The event, which was originally slated for the 14 November, will now take place on 12 December 2020.
Jacqueline, who is also a trustee of the Dr. Reginald Mengi People with Disabilities Foundation said, “We are delighted to have former President Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete as Guest of Honor at the BEAUTY LEGACY GALA 2020 fundraising event. We remain thankful for his support for our cause slotted for December 12 this year. We also thank all contributors who are supporting this cause. Proceeds from the charity event will go towards creating a hospital library for children, providing life support equipment for babies born prematurely as well as refurbishing maternity wards at Muhimbili referral hospital.”
