NEW BRIDGE TO MAKE DAR ES SALAAM MORE NAVIGABLE

A model of the Dar es Salaam bridge whose construction President John Magufuli inaugurated on Thursday, 20th December 2018.

All is set for Dar es Salaam to have an even newer look, with President John Magufuli having spent part of yesterday morning laying a foundation stone to signal the start of the construction of a 1.03 kilometre bridge to link the city's Barack Obama Drive and Coco Beach. The implementation of the project will also see the upgrading of roads totalling 5.2 kilometres to connect the two sides of the bridge.
