DIAMOND TRUST BANK CONDUCTS A 3-DAY MEDICAL CAMP AT BOMBO HOSPITAL

Diamond Trust Bank in collaboration with Lions Club of Dar es salaam, conducted a 3-day Medical camp at Bombo Hospital (Tanga Regional Referral Hospital).

More than 2,900 patients were screened for various medical conditions including body mass index (BMI) diabetes, eye disorders, malaria and other ailments. The camp was a success; oversaw 281 cataract surgeries, distributed 1,200 spectacles, eye drops, glucose and other medical consumables.

The bank in its sustainability agenda, has forged partnerships with various stakeholders in the quest to improve the standards of life to many underprivileged Tanzanians.
