Dar es Salaam - 27.08.2022 – Tanzania Youth Entrepreneurship held its 3rd business fair that showcased various businesses launched by young children. The business fair took place at Mtana Restaurant, in Oysterbay, Dar es Salaam on the 27th of August 2022.

Children have dreams and passions, as parents and role models we need to encourage our children to follow their dreams and make a difference in their communities. These kid entrepreneurs teach us how to dig deeply to uncover our passions—and think about how we can use those passions to launch a business. This was an opportunity to show support to these children and their businesses and encourage them.

As we support these young entrepreneurs, we lead the way for a country that creates jobs in the private sector. It also encourages other young children to not give up and they become the faces of the future.

Parents were encouraged to bring their children see their peers showcase their businesses. They were also able to learn more about other businesses, to be encouraged and learn new skills.

Tracy from Kids Finance with Tracy, who is one of the organizers, is excited to have had the third business fair and looked forward to seeing many children from the ages 8 -17, who came and visited various stalls showcasing their businesses. “I hope that they will be encouraged, it is never too late to work on your dream business.” She said

Nancy Sumari, Managing Director of Jengahub said “We are excited about this business fair and welcome all children to come and visit the various stalls. There is so much to learn, and this is only the beginning for them. So, we welcome everyone to attend the business fair that was held at the Mtana Restaurant, Oysterbay. The fair began at 11 a.m.

As Natokajekidigitali we believe that in this day and age it is critical for children to gain digital skills which also helps them to develop new opportunities online. They will also be taught various games that enhances the child's ability to acknowledge, strategize and scan things (IQ) like Chess, Monopoly etc. Along with a variety of digital games.

The business has been organized by Kids Finance with Tracy, Jengahub and Natokajekidijitali.
