Charles has been Managing Director of Ecobank Malawi for the last seven years and joined Ecobank 21 years ago. He started as an Internal Controller and Auditor in Ecobank Ghana, before being promoted to Remedial Manager in its Risk Management Department. He then transferred to Ecobank Group as Group Financial Control Officer prior to becoming the Group Financial and Regulatory Reporting Manager. After this he was appointed as Executive Director, Corporate Bank for Ecobank Malawi.

Charles is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), UK. He has a Bachelor’s degree (First Class Honors) in Administration – Accounting from the University of Ghana and an MBA (Financial Management) from the University of Hull, UK.
