BANK OF AFRICA TANZANIA OPENS THREE NEW BRANCHES

Bank of Africa Tanzania has opened three new branches in Dar es salaam and Manyara region to extend financial services to potential areas tat will help to drive growth.

The new branches launched over the weekend are Mbezi Louis, Mwenge in Dar es salaam region and Babati in Manyara region.

Bank of Africa Tanzania Managing Director Mr. Ammish Owusu-Amoah said at the launching ceremony of Babati branch that they were opening at the same time with two other branches in Dar es salaam in areas with remarkable potential growth.

"The bank pledges its total support towards growing the financial sector and economy in Manyara as well as Tanzania at large. We are committed to working with the community in Manyara and believe that this will lead to an increased economic activity and wealth creation in the region", he said.
Babati is well know for its specialisation in farming of Sesame, sunflower and grains.

An efficient financial system is one of the key pre-requisites for economic growth and development to be achieved, he said.
