VODACOM TANZANIA GRADUATES GIRLS IN STEM THROUGH ‘CODE LIKE A GIRL’ PROGRAM

Vodacom Tanzania Plc’s Youth and Training Specialist, Mr. Samwel Komba, presents a certificate to student Doris Nisetasi, a graduate of the Code Like a Girl program. The initiative aims to enhance awareness among female students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and is sponsored by Vodacom Tanzania in partnership with dLab. The graduation ceremony was held on Friday in Dar es Salaam.

Graduate of the Coding Program, Lairati Yahya, presents her group’s project during the climax of the Code Like a Girltraining in Dar es Salaam. The program, run by dLab with sponsorship from Vodacom Tanzania PLC, aims to educate and inspire girls to pursue studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). To date, more than 3,370 girls across the country have graduated from the training.
