The supplies were presented by NMB Lake Zone Manager, Faraja Ng’ingo, during two separate phases, with the first phase taking place at Mkuyuni Primary School in Chato District.
Among the educational materials donated were 150 desks, 50 chairs and tables, and three computers delivered to Chato District. Additionally, Kaigara and Biija Primary Schools in Muleba District received 200 sheets of iron and wheel chairs to disabled students.
During the donation ceremony, Ng’ingo emphasized the bank’s commitment to giving back to the community as part of its corporate social responsibility, stating that they aim to share a portion of their profits with the communities they serve.

In the healthcare sector, Chato Regional Hospital received 10 beds with mattresses, 10 wheelchairs for patients, and 10 blood pressure monitoring machines.
