A group of painters engaged in the painting competition organized by Guinness to spark interest in arts and creativity during the event last Saturday. |
Guinness is yet another thrilling SBL brand that inspires the best out of consumers. Thus the Brews and Brushes bespoke event was a direct call to realizing the latter. The freestyle painting competition called for any participant, special guest and all invitees to engage in painting tasks and showcase their inner talents, with no rules applied.
The event drew several interesting figures in the arts and creativity arena, such as Hamis Mandi “BDOZEN”, a radio/Tv personality and young aspiring talents in the painting arena.
Irene Jeremiah, an aspiring young painter, commended SBL’s commitment to supporting artistic expressions with a creative event.
“I am happy to be here because I get to engage with other talents and learn much more about my career, but also network and connect with potential clients, so I appreciate Guinness for supporting arts”, Irene added.
On the other side of the aisle, Rispa Hatibu, SBL’s Communications Manager, appreciated the positive response to the event call and pointed out Guinness's support for arts and creativity.
“We are not just a company, we are situated at the core of supporting communities from various avenues, including arts, and this event speaks volumes on how supporting talents could spur into something big”, Rispa added.
Also, Bdozen, who also led the event as the MC, expressed his views on the event and its relevance to Tanzania's arts and creative industry.
“We all know how arts and creativity support economies worldwide, and Guinness comes at the right time when arts is now a business model people use to support themselves.” He added.
The event saw winners walking away with Guinness-branded awards and prizes.
