A daily package customer will get a bonus of 10minutes / up to 100mb, while the weekly package customer will receive 70minutes/ up to 700mb and the monthly package customer gets 300minutes / up to 3gb.
Commenting on the campaign, David Umoh, Tigo Tanzania, Acting Chief Commercial Officer said, “We are always looking out for innovative ways to reward our active customers and put smiles on their faces, this campaign offers us a good opportunity to connect with new and existing subscribers.”

This campaign gives early risers and those who prefer to plan their day-to-day undertakings in the morning a boost to jump-start their day.” Remarked Umoh.
“Over the years Tigo Tanzania has pioneered innovations such as free Facebook in Swahili, Swahili smartphones, packages or bundles as we know today, just to mention a few aiming at removing barriers of communication amongst its customers. Now, with Cha Asubuhi, over 12 million Tigo customers will be able to wake up and make free calls, browse the internet, without the worry of having airtime on their phones. This further demonstrates our efforts in being the telco that gives value to our customers”. Explained Umoh.
The campaign will run for 90 days and is open to all new and existing Tigo customers. All the customer needs to do is to subscribe to the package of their choice through the USSD menu *147*00#, Tipo Pesa App or Tigo’s website and the bonus talk time, data bonus will be received instantly, which they can only use between 6 am and 9 am each day.
