BARCLAYS BANK TANZANIA UNDER ABSA GROUP LIMITED ANNOUNCES VISA CREDIT CARD “LIVE THE CARD LIFE” PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN WINNER

Barclays Bank Tanzania (BBT) Head of Retail Banking, Oscar Mwamfwagasi (right), speaks at a media conference in Dar es Salaam over the weekend to announce the winner of the bank’s just ended Visa Credit Card ‘Live the Card Life’ campaign. A Dar es Salaam resident, Yusufu Fadhili Mavura, won a fully paid trip to Johannesburg, South Africa together with his chosen partner for A VIP treatment for three days. June 21, 2019, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania - Barclays Bank Tanzania under Absa Group Limited, one of Africa’s largest financial services providers, has announced their Visa Credit Cards “Live the Card Life” promotional campaign winner. The winner will enjoy a fully paid trip to Johannesburg, South Africa (SA) and enjoy a VIP treatment for three days.

The campaign was launched in April 2019 and has run for one month. Speaking at the press conference, the Head of Marketing and Corporate Relations, Mr Aron Luhanga, commented, ‘our lucky winner will travel to Johannesburg, SA with his or her chosen partner, and get to experience a full VIP treatment from sleeping in a luxurious hotel, being driven in private limousine to free shopping at famous malls.

We appeal to all other customers to join Barclays Bank under Absa Group and be part of a great bank. Our focus is to bring possibilities to our customers’ lives and positively impact our communities that we serve.

‘This campaign was opened to all our customers who Bank with Barclays and those who wish to open accounts with us. A customer needed to either open an account and acquire a Barclays Credit Card or make five transactions or more using their Barclays Credit card, and get into the draw to stand a chance to win a fully paid trip to Johannesburg, SA for the VIP treatment for three days’, said Mr Oscar Mwamfwagasi, Head of Retail Banking. He equally said that Customers who switch to Barclays have multiple reasons to do so including but not limited to a wide range of exciting products and exceptional services from our friendly staff.

The Barclays Credit Card Campaign ended on May, 31, 2019.
