Speaking at the opening, First National Bank Chief Executive Officer, Dave Aitken said the launch of FNB Arusha branch is specifically geared at easing access to FNB services and meeting the fast growing demands of banking and financial services in the northern circuit zone.
“Inauguration of the Arusha branch is a display of our continued investment and strategy of driving access to financial services in the country. It is also in the interest of the rapid growth of Arusha which plays an integral role in the economic growth of Tanzania.”
Aitken said Arusha branch is the tenth amongst the FNB Tanzania branch network as part of its strategic plan to expand a network of branches to cover all key areas in the country.

Our Arusha branch will provide comprehensive banking solutions to customers living in Arusha city and neighbouring areas which has some of the fastest growing business communities,” Aitken said.
Speaking before officially launching the branch, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Ashatu Kijaji said the Arusha region has enormous economic potential and the recent growth in various economic sectors is an indication that the town is growing exponentially.
“We welcome the presence of FNB Tanzania in Arusha and look forward to assisting you to establish the FNB brand here and also beyond this region,” said the Deputy Minister.
She said Arusha has not only generated significant wealth and enterprise, but also contributed immensely to the economic growth of Tanzania through tourism and other productive sectors of the economy.
“Arusha has a huge untapped economic potential and some of the fastest growing businesses across all key economic sectors. We hope the FNB presence in this region will play a key role in the development of small, medium and big businesses through your advanced and innovative banking solutions.”Kijaji said.
Located at PPF Plaza, the Arusha branch comes with the most technologically advanced multifunction ATMs which can be used for withdrawals and deposit and they will cater to the needs of both the retail and corporate segments in the northern zone.
