The promotion, which was rolled out in May this year, has seen the bank giving out monthly prizes i.e iPhone 6 Smart Phones
Speaking to journalists during the draw held at the bank’s head office in Dar es Salaam, Mr Aloyse Maro, the bank’s product Manager said the bank has been overwhelmed by the response of the promotion which aims at fostering a savings culture among Tanzanians.
“The promotion has been a huge success. It generated a lot of excitement among customers with people from different parts of the country participating. This bears testimony that people are benefiting from the services offered by Exim Bank Tanzania,” said Mr Maro during the draw which was supervised by the Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT)
He highlighted that along with the prizes that customers won; the campaign offered very attractive interest rates on the fixed deposits as part of the promotion.
“Along with the great prizes that our customers won, all customers who participated earned attractive interest in their fixed deposits”. He said.
