USAID supported renovation of the laboratory and the provision of new equipment as part of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The kitted and renovated research and development laboratory, valued at approximately $400,000, will ensure that quality drugs reach the people of Tanzania.
