From the second draw of the campaign of the campaign, 3 winners walked away with smartphones, 3 other winners received smart television sets and 1 winner was awarded a motorcycle. The handover ceremony took place concurrently in Lake, North and South zones where the ‘Kapu la Wana’ campaign is taking place.
Speaking at the handover ceremony in Kilimanjaro, the winner of the motorcycle, Lazaro Kileo said he was elated to have emerged the winner of the motorcycle from the campaign, adding that the campaign has become helpful as it helps elevate consumers’ economic welfare when they are awarded with prizes like motorcycles which they can use to increase their income, “this campaign has proven to be valuable to us consumers because we are rewarded with prizes that in one way or another advance our lives and this demonstrate how much Pilsner lager cares about us consumers.”
Other 3 winners of ‘Kapu la Wana’ campaign who walked away with smartphones were Lucy Faustine (Korogwe), Heinsten Tumaini (Kagera) and George Gerald (Katavi), while 3 others who received smart television sets were Abdul Msafiri (Arusha), Salumu Nyanga (Simiyu) and Happy Venance (Iringa).
Speaking at one of the handover ceremonies in Kilimanjaro, SBL Sales Manager– Kilimanjaro region, Abel Mushi congratulated the winners, saying the purpose of the ‘Kapu la Wana’ campaign is to empower hardworking consumers by rewarding them various prizes after participating in the campaign, “we value our esteemed customers and, this is our way of rewarding them for loving and supporting our brand, this is the second time we run this campaign and through this campaign we want to give our consumers an opportunity to elevate their lives in one way or another, for instance the winner of the motorcycle may decide to use it to help increase his income and on the other hand, the winners of smart television and smartphones their prizes will advance their social welfare.”
He called on consumers in Lake, South and North zones to keep participating in the campaign and stand a chance to win various prizes in the 8-week long campaign which was launched on February 2nd. The prizes include smart television sets, smartphones, a motorcycle and the grand prize of a brand-new car.
Explaining how to participate Mushi said, “after purchasing a Pilsner lager, scratch to get a reward card. If the reward is a code number send it to 15320 e.g. write kapu 4321 Iringa. (Jump space between words) then an SMS will be sent to confirm participation and stand a chance to win.”
SBL has invested a total of Tzsh 36 million in the campaign for 22 winners by the end of the campaign.
