DODOMA - Finance and Planning Minister, Dr. Philip Mpango yesterday tabled the Microfinance Act 2018, under certificate of urgency, seeking to protect and improve financial services.
The envisaged legislation seeks to introduce registration procedures, offering licence to micro financial services providers, revoking licences and giving procedures on how to run microfinancial services.
