Before this round, Vodacom had already paid over 39bn/- in previous disbursements which means at the completion of this round, a total of over 70bn/-will have been put in customers’ pockets.
“This round of M-Pesa usage benefit payments amounts to 32bn/- in total and will give MPesa users a head start into the new year as each user will receive a share of the payment according to the level of their M-Pesa activities,” the statement reads in part.
“As Vodacom’s ‘Nogesha Upendo’ campaign continues to see customers win up to 1m/- every day from buying bundles, now payments of M-Pesa usage benefits which have commenced this week will make the beginning of 2017 even more rewarding for millions of M-Pesa customers and agents.”
“The distribution of M-Pesa usage benefits to our customers and agents enhances the giving theme of our ongoing Nogesha Upendo campaign.
