Stanbic Bank Tanzania is one of the sponsors of the fourth Tanzania Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (TOGaCE) which took place at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere International Conference Centre.
The Bank’s East Africa Head of Oil & Gas – Maina Kigundu presented on “the value chain around major projects on Oil & Gas Sectors” among the other presentations that were made at the conference.
Yesterday, Stanbic Bank was presented with a certificate of honour and trophy for its participation in the conference. Mr. Thomas Bisonga, the bank’s Executive Director and Head of Corporate and Investment Banking received the certificate on behalf of the bank.
The objective of the conference was to avail stakeholders a platform to share experiences and to disseminate information to the Oil & Gas industry in Tanzania and the world.
This year’s two day conference was themed “Oil & Gas towards Growth” and brought together different stakeholders from the Oil & Gas Sub-sector including; EWURA, Ministry of Energy and Minerals, University of Dar es Salaam and Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation among others. The conference ended today.
