54 African countries under scrutiny
African Economic Outlook is one of the flagship publications of the African Development Bank (AfDB), jointly written with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Development Centre and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Every year, this publication analyses the performance and prospects of each of the continent's 54 countries, casts a spotlight on one particular topic and offers its analysis in comparable country profiles, the whole complemented by a detailed statistical annex. Two-year projections for economic and social performance complete the report, broadening its perspective.
Spotlight: Territorial development and spatial inclusion
Each edition focuses on a particular theme. This year, the focus is on territorial development and spatial inclusion.
Written in three parts, this report is also available in a digital edition with a dedicated website that contains the full versions of the country profiles in their original languages, supported by statistics, tables and graphs.
The report is embargoed until the date and time of its official launch.
