Dar es Salaam. Precision Air (PW) and Africa’s hotel booking website -- Jovago.com – have struck a partnership deal that enables the airline’s passengers to pick hotels of their choice right from its (PW’s) website.
The deal also enables PW passengers to access in depth information on hotels as well as book accommodation in various destinations covered by the airline.
The move, according to PW’s head of corporate communication, Ms Azda Nkullo, stems from the fact that the airline and hotel industries have always existed interdependently.
“Passengers need peace of mind…having the ability to book both their travel and accommodation in just one click from a reliable provider grants just that…The airline and hotel industries have always been interdependent, hence our new partnership only solidifies the existing bond,” she said in Dar es Salaam at the weekend.
“Our utmost goal is to promote e-tourism as a frontier in marketing Africa…an integral part in meeting this objective is to create or design products that are both efficient and customer-friendly,” she said.
She was hopeful that the partnership would go a long way in promoting inter-region tourism in East Africa, especially after three of the countries in the region recently appeared on Africa’s most visited destinations.
PW is a public listed Tanzanian airline, established 21 years ago as a charter airline and has steadily grown to become a reputable airline in Tanzania, East and Central Africa at large.
Currently operating in nine local and international destinations, PW is always looking forward to expanding its network and becoming a truly regional airline.
Jovago.com is Africa’s leading online hotel booking portal. With a presence in 51 African countries, Jovago.com has direct partnership with about 10,000 hotels in Africa and close to 200, 000 globally through a partnership with Expedia.com.
