Selcom Microfinance Bank has launched SELCOM PESA, a revolutionary digital financial service aimed at making financial transactions more affordable and accessible for all Tanzanians.

With its low transaction fees and integration with the Tanzania Instant Payment System (TIPS), SELCOM PESA is setting new standards in convenience and affordability. Now, customers can make secure money transfers, pay bills, and access government services directly from their phones.

The event was graced by Guest of Honour, Emmanuel Tutuba, Governor Bank of Tanzania, who emphasized the importance of digital financial revolution in the country. He highlighted how SELCOM PESA addresses key challenges like high transaction costs, ensuring financial services are more inclusive and affordable for all Tanzanians.

As part of the launch, Selcom introduced the “5 kwa Jero” campaign, offering customers the chance to make 5 transactions a day for only TZS 500.
