JOIN THE INDIA-TANZANIA VOICE OF UNITY RUN

Dar es Salaam, November 14, 2023: The India-Tanzania Voice of Unity Run, is a friendship run event aimed at inspiring one another through the voice of friendship & unity. As a gathering point for runners, this race will serve as a platform for people to share their triumphs in this last long run for 2023.

This Last Long run will be spearheaded by Mr. Milind Soman, a veteran of the world's most prestigious marathons and a beacon of fitness, who brings with him a wealth of experience from the bustling streets of Mumbai, India all the way to Tanzania. As an ambassador for multiple international marathons and the driving force behind Pinkathon, his passion for running is matched only by his commitment to community and wellness. As an ambassador for the Fit India movement Mr. Soman leads the concept of the Last Long Run across the world & this time, he has picked the dynamic streets of Dar es salaam to Bagamoyo and back, covering 120 kms in total over the two days of December 30th & 31st.

Mr. Milind Soman said “It is an absolute privilege for us to visit Tanzania with the team & spearhead the run alongside fellow passionate runners in Tanzania. Having done the last long run-in different countries, I believe Tanzania will warmly welcome the Voice Of unity sentiment & give me the platform to mark yet another milestone on this journey. We are excited & proud to represent the Indian High Commission in Tanzania as the ambassadors of the fit India movement & we hope to make a place for ourselves in the heart of Tanzania”

This event is being held in association with the High Commission of India, as part of the ever-evolving relations between two vibrant countries India & Tanzania. This fun run would be held on 30th & 31st December 2023 starting from Dar es salaam to Bagamoyo on Day 1 & starting from Bagamoyo ending at Dar es salaam on day 2. We anticipate this togetherness & the last long run for 2023 will echo the sentiments of friendship & voice of Unity, engraving everlasting bonds of friendship between the two nations & the runners across all walks of life.
