Marking the day at the Serana Hotel in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, the airline outlined key milestones achieved over the years in the fields of aviation technology, innovation, and onboard comfort. The event also sought to celebrate the airline’s key partners including travel agents, travel advisors, and other players of its Business-to-Trade (B2T) network. These partners play a pivotal role in the airline's success, working tirelessly to ensure that travelers have seamless and memorable experiences.
Giving his remarks at the anniversary, Air France KLM General Manager for East and Southern Africa, Nigeria, and Ghana, Marius van der Ham, said the 90-year journey has been one of progress, innovation, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.
“As we celebrate this momentous milestone, Air France remains dedicated to upholding the values that have defined us for 90 years. Moving forward, the airline remains committed to upholding the values and traditions that have defined it for 90 years. Air France, 90 years of elegance
Created from the merger of Air Orient, Air Union, Société Générale de Transports Aériens, the Compagnie Internationale de Navigation Aérienne and Aéropostale, Air France was officially inaugurated on 7th October 1933. Ever since, the company has continued to create its legend by promoting the French art of travel around the world. Air France today offers its customers close to 1,000 daily flights to 200 destinations with a fleet of more than 240 aircraft.
