WATUMISHI HOUSING TO CONSTRUCT TEACHERS' HOUSES IN 23 REGIONS SAYS CEO

Dar es Salaam - Watumishi housing Company (WHC) has embarked on a project to construct teachers' houses in 23 regions. WHC chief executive officer 
Fred Msemwa told the Citizen that the company was working with the Tanzania Education Authority to construct the houses.

He said a pilot project had started. "We are already on the ground. We started started two weeks ago in Lindi region".

According to him, the pilot project will be undertaken in Lindi, Mtwara, Tanga, Singida, Morogoro, Dar es salaam and Coast Region. He said the total cost of constructing 90 housing units for 90 families in the first phase would be 2 billion.
