The national airline Air Zimbabwe has re-introduced the Harare-Dar es Salaam flight on the 14th of May 2016 as part of a strategy to compliment government efforts of promoting regional integration.
The re-introduction of the Harare Dar es Salaam flight is expected to make the country more accessible from different parts of the region for the purposes of tourism, formal and informal trade.
In a telephone interview, Air Zimbabwe public relations executive Mrs Shingai Dhliwayo said the airline will be flying twice weekly between the two countries.
People who spoke to the ZBC News welcomed the return of the flight saying it will also enhance efficiency for traders.
Air Zimbabwe has been re-introducing flights to lucrative destinations with Dar es Salaam being the third after Johannesburg in South Africa and Lusaka in Zambia.
