FNB TANZANIA SAVINGS CAMPAIGN A MAJOR SUCCESS

Dar es Salaam, December 3, 2015: The First National Bank Tanzania save and win campaign which is a drive to encourage a savings culture among Tanzanians has become a major success with a good number of customers taking part.

The FNB Head of Product and Digital Banking, Silvest Arumasi said yesterday that through the campaign, new and existing customers gets an automatic entry into the draw for every 50,000/= they deposit. “This campaign has been a major success since we launched it in October and it is encouraging to see a good number of our customers taking part in the campaign. The prize draws are based on savings balances, so customers can increase their chances of winning by saving more and contributing often to their accounts.”

For First National Bank, the Save and Win prize draws represent a means for showing our appreciation to our customers for their continued patronage, at the same time providing a platform for us to drive home the importance of saving to a wider community,” said Arumasi. “To those yet to embrace a savings culture, the campaign demonstrates the benefits of saving with First National Bank and the exciting rewards it could fetch them through this exciting campaign.”

Arumasi announced Mr Boaz Ituwe as the second winner of five million shillings awarded by the bank every month to a lucky winner amongst customers taking part in the three months savings campaign dubbed save and win.
