EXIM BANK TANZANIA TAKES SERVICES CLOSER TO DAR ES SALAAM INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR SHOW GOERS

EXIM Bank Tanzania has gone a step further to take services closer to its customers taking part at the ongoing 39th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF).

The bank apart from providing professional advice to its customers at its pavilion located at Sabasaba grounds has put in place a mobile ATM van that allows customers to draw more money to enable them to do shopping without necessarily carrying large amounts of money that puts them at risk.

According to Exim’s Cluster Head, Agnes Kaganda the bank has been participating very well in this year's Sabasaba Trade Fair where a team comprising of sales executives and bank officials are stationed at the bank’s pavilion to publicize and sell Exim’s products and services.

“A good number of customers open our accounts and other products, and the overall picture is that many Tanzanians are very happy with the products and services offered by Exim because of their reliability and convenience,’’ she said

According to Ms Kaganda through the Trade Fair the bank has also been sensitizing its customers about the enhanced security features of its new Faida debit card which is now uses a Chip as opposed to a magnetic strip.

“This provides the card holder with enhanced security and a peace of mind that their card transactions are completely safe and secure” she said

She further mentioned that the customers who visit the bank’s pavilion have been informed more about the bank’s ongoing fixed deposit account campaign which aims at enhancing the culture of saving in the country.

“The campaign is aimed at fostering a savings culture in Tanzania. With the competitive rates that we are offering during the campaign, customers are be able to get good returns on their deposits,” said Ms Kaganda

In an effort to show case the bank’s commitment towards the campaign, she also mentioned that there are monthly give-aways to their esteemed Fixed Deposit account holders throughout the campaign.

“The monthly prizes include iPhones and a car, which will be the grand prize,” she added.

She further emphasised that the bank is committed in making sure its customers are being provided with the best services and products, while urging their customers to visit the bank’s pavilion to obtain more details regarding the products and services.
