Five-star hotel and serviced apartments will be part of the landmark MNF Square mixed-use project in Dar es Salaam.

Rotana, one of the leading hotel management company in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe, stakes its claim on the African hospitality market, with the announcement of its debut project in the commercial capital of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam. The 254-key property will include 191 luxurious hotel rooms and suitesand 63 serviced apartments spread across 24 floors.
The new Rotana property will be part of the landmark MNF Square in Dar es Salaam – a 65,000 square meters mixed-use project composed of the Five-Star Hotel, Class-A Offices, Retail and Parking Facilities. The project is an intelligent building designed to meet green building standards.

In addition to a selection of rooms, suites and serviced apartments, the new Rotana hotel will also feature six F&B outlets – a lobby lounge, all-day dining restaurant,Chinese restaurant, bar, specialty restaurant and Club Rotana Lounge. In addition, guests will have access to an in-house pool and fully equipped gym. The hotel will also include 6 meeting rooms, a ballroom and dedicated business centre.
The signing of the Dar es Salaam property adds to Rotana’s active development portfolio in the African continent, which currently includes several projects distributed between Mauritania, Tripoli, Morocco and Algeria. The company has also expressed interest in expanding in Sub Saharan Africa.
