The new Managing Director (MD) for Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation, James Andilile with outgoing MD for TPDC, Yona Killagane during a press conference in Dar es Salaam.
Minister for Energy and Minerals, Professor Sospeter Muhongo, has announced James Andilile the acting Managing Director for Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) to replace Yona Killagane, who is set to retire after a long service to the government institution.
Mr. Andilile who was the Assitant Commissioner for Energy Development will replace Mr. Killagane at the end of this month.
The outgoing MD, Mr. Killagane is a highly respected accountant who has played a great role in developing the accountancy professional in Tanzania as a resource person, examiner and trainer in the NBAA´s professional development courses at IDM Mzumbe.
Mr. Killagane is a member of the Governing Board of the NBAA. He is UK Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), with an MSc in finance from the University of Strathclyde in the UK. He has authored authoritative books for the NBAA on financial accounting and accounting standards.
