ABSA BANK TANZANIA SHOWCASES INNOVATIVE BANKING SOLUTIONS AT NANE NANE 2026

Dodoma | August 9, 2026: Absa Bank Tanzania showcased its innovative banking products and services to farmers, entrepreneurs, businesses and other visitors during the 32nd International Nane Nane Farmers’ Exhibition, held at the Dr. John Samuel Malecela Grounds in Dodoma Region.

The exhibition provided Absa Bank Tanzania with an opportunity to engage directly with customers and members of the public, explaining its range of banking solutions and demonstrating how the bank is supporting financial inclusion and economic activities across the country.

During the exhibition, Minister for Agriculture, Hon. Daniel Chongolo (pictured below, centre), visited the Absa pavilion, where he received an overview of the bank’s various banking services.

Absa officials also engaged with residents, students and other visitors, providing information on available products and services. Some customers took the opportunity to open new bank accounts at the pavilion.

The bank’s team, led by Head of Customer Network, Ms. Irene Mwilongo Msungu, together with Dodoma Regional Branch Manager Mr. Deogratias Luena, Manager Citizenship and Events Ms. Abigail Lukuvi and other employees, facilitated the engagements throughout the exhibition.

The participation underscores Absa Bank Tanzania’s commitment to bringing banking services closer to communities and supporting Tanzanians with solutions that meet their evolving financial needs.
