Dar es Salaam, Tanzania | 26 March 2026
The second edition of Women Shaping the Future (WSF) is set to return this March, bringing a sharper focus on one of the most critical drivers of women’s leadership today—financial power.
Organised by Studiored Communications (SRC), the flagship Women’s Month event will take place on Saturday, 28 March 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro under the theme “Build Wealth. Build Power.”
A Platform Focused on Wealth Creation
WSF 2026 goes beyond inspiration, positioning itself as a practical, results-driven platform for women who are serious about building and sustaining wealth.
The full-day conference will bring together women leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers to explore:
- Turning income into long-term assets
- Investing with intention
- Protecting wealth
- Building generational legacy
Through expert-led sessions and real-world conversations, the event is designed to equip attendees with actionable strategies to strengthen their financial future.
Stanbic Bank Tanzania Joins as Official Partner
In a significant collaboration, Stanbic Bank Tanzania has come on board as the Official Event Partner.
The partnership reflects a shared belief that women’s wealth creation is not just a social goal—but an economic imperative.
As one of Tanzania’s leading financial institutions and part of the Standard Bank Group, Stanbic Bank Tanzania has consistently championed women’s financial empowerment through:
- Financial education initiatives
- Investment advisory services
- Programmes supporting women entrepreneurs
The event is expected to host over 200 women, providing direct access to tools, expertise, and networks that translate financial ambition into measurable outcomes.
Driving Economic Growth Through Women
Speaking ahead of the event, Ester Manase, Head of Corporate & Investment Banking at Stanbic Bank Tanzania, emphasised the broader impact of empowering women financially:
“Strengthening women’s financial power is essential to driving Tanzania’s economic growth and long-term prosperity. Through this partnership, we are delivering practical financial strategies that help women build, grow, and protect their wealth with confidence.”
She added that enabling women to turn ambition into assets ultimately contributes to sustainable prosperity for families, businesses, and the nation.
High-Level Participation and Strategic Alignment
The event will feature a keynote address by Dorothy Gwajima, Minister for Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups.
Her participation highlights the alignment between WSF’s objectives and Tanzania’s broader development agenda, including the ambitions outlined under Dira 2050, which seeks to position women as full participants in the country’s economic transformation.
Conversations That Matter
WSF 2026 will feature a diverse and impactful programme, including:
- A fireside conversation with Ester Manase
- A panel discussion titled “Wealth Without Permission: How Women Build Power, Ownership and Legacy”
- A Wealth Studio masterclass led by financial expert Emilian Busara
- Practitioner-led Wealth Salons focused on real financial decisions
- A capital markets session by Tanzania Securities Limited on investing with confidence
Speakers include:
- Sophia Byanaku
- Tumaini Pyanisa
- Wanda Gordon
Building More Than Inspiration
According to Tanya Mulamula, Managing Partner at Studiored Communications and Co-Convener of WSF, the event is intentionally designed to move beyond surface-level conversations:
“Our aim is clear: every woman who walks into that room should walk out with sharper clarity on her next financial move and the confidence to act on it. We want participants to leave with a defined plan—not just inspiration.”
A Growing Platform with Regional Ambition
Now in its second year, WSF builds on the success of its 2025 edition, which brought together over 120 participants and 15 speakers, including government leaders, diplomats, and business executives.
For SRC, WSF is part of a long-term vision to expand across East Africa and beyond, leveraging the Invested In Series to drive meaningful dialogue, partnerships, and action.
