Dar es Salaam, February 27, 2026 – Puma Energy Tanzania has hosted a special Iftar for its clients and partners as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships and express appreciation during the holy month of Ramadhan.
Puma Energy Tanzania Managing Director, Ms. Fatma M. Abdallah speaks during a special Iftar dinner organised by the Company.
The gathering brought together customers, stakeholders, and company leadership in a spirit of unity, reflection, and shared purpose.
A Gesture of Appreciation
The Iftar was organized as a token of gratitude to clients whose continued partnership plays a vital role in the company’s operations across the country. By convening outside a formal business setting, Puma Energy Tanzania sought to acknowledge the contributions of its customers and reinforce relationships built on trust and mutual respect.
Held during Ramadhan—a month that emphasizes compassion, generosity, and togetherness—the shared meal provided an opportunity for informal dialogue and personal connection. Guests broke their fast together and engaged directly with company representatives, strengthening bonds beyond day-to-day commercial interactions.
The event underscored the company’s belief that sustainable growth depends not only on transactions, but on enduring partnerships.
“This gathering is our way of recognizing the importance of our stakeholders and community in our journey,” said Ms. Fatma M. Abdallah, Managing Director of Puma Energy Tanzania.
“Their continued trust enables us to operate responsibly and expand access to reliable energy solutions. Ramadhan offers a meaningful moment to express gratitude and reaffirm our commitment to service, integrity, and collaboration,” she added.
The Spirit of Ramadhan
Speaking during the event, Sheikh Mkowe Abdallah highlighted the importance of community and shared responsibility during Ramadhan.
“Gathering together for Iftar strengthens the bonds of friendship and mutual respect. It is a time to reflect on our duties to one another and to the wider community, and to act with integrity and compassion,” he noted.
Expanding Cleaner Energy Access
While the evening focused on appreciation and unity, Puma Energy Tanzania continues to expand its alternative energy solutions across the country.
The company recently launched a major CNG Mother Station in Dar es Salaam, considered among the largest in Africa. The facility supplies smaller CNG stations nationwide, increasing access to cleaner and more affordable fuel for vehicles, buses, and trucks.
The growing CNG network supports efforts to promote environmentally responsible energy alternatives while improving fuel accessibility for businesses and communities.
Driving Economic Impact
Beyond environmental benefits, the CNG investment has contributed significantly to local economic activity. During construction, the project created more than 300 jobs, including specialized roles for engineers and technicians, while engaging local contractors and small and medium-sized enterprises.
By expanding the availability of natural gas as an alternative fuel, the initiative aligns with Tanzania’s broader objectives of energy diversification and sustainable development.
Reinforcing Ethical Partnerships
In closing, the company emphasized the broader significance of such engagements beyond the event itself.
“Events like this Iftar allow us to reflect on our shared responsibility to clients and communities,” said Emmanuel G. Bakilana, Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs at Puma Energy Tanzania.
“It is a moment to thank those who support our operations and to reinforce the principles of ethical business and partnership that guide our work every day.”
Through this Iftar and its continued investments in energy infrastructure, Puma Energy Tanzania reaffirms its commitment to building lasting partnerships while contributing to social and economic progress across the country.
