ECOBANK SUPPORTS MARA RIVER BASIN ECOSYSTEM

Ecobank supported East Africa Community Lake Victoria Basin Commission by participating in trees planting activity along Mara river during Mara Day celebrations held in Mugumu, Serengeti District, Mara Region.

Ecobank recognizes that education plays a crucial role in promoting environmental conservation. Through its Corporate Responsibility programs, the bank also supported essays competitions in secondary and primary schools in Mugumu, Serengeti district.

The official guest of honor Eng. MaryPrisca Mahundi (Mb), Deputy Minister of Water, together with the Mara Region Commissioner Mr. Saidi Mtanda, Dr. Vincent Mashinji Head of Serengeti District, Ministers and Lake Victoria Basin Commission representatives from Kenya and Uganda attended and graced the event.
