TPB Bank Plc has joined the elite group of first-tier banks in Tanzania after the value of its assets crossed the Sh1 trillion mark following the lender's acquisition of assets and liabilities of TIB Corporate Bank.
The Government officially announced in Dodoma that TPB Bank Plc was officially acquiring all assets of and liabilities of TIB Corporate Bank, in a deliberate move to improve performance of public institutions.
