SBC HANDS OVER SH 50M QUAKE DONATION TO PREMIER MAJALIWA

Dar es Salaam - A soft drinks bottling company SBC Tanzania Limited has handed over Sh. 50 million to Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa in support of the government's efforts to help the needy victims and survivors of the September 10, 2016 earthquake in Kagera which killed 17 people and injured hundred.

The company which is commonly known as Pepsi donated the funds as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. Being part of the Tanzanian community, which has for years been supporting our business, we feel obliged to give our support in return through social development as well as when such bad moments come" The SBC Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Avinash Jha said.
