The advert which started to circulate on Friday 22nd 2016, claim that the Bank has hired experts and consultants in the banking industry known as Quality Service Consultants, to foresee and manage the whole admission, selection and training tasks and that in the whole period of six months after which, the successful candidates will be working for the Bank as well as continuing with practical training classes under professional supervision.
The advert issued by one Christopher Mwakingwe also allege that MCB is looking to recruit experienced, self-driven, dynamic and result oriented individuals who are keen to develop a career in a dynamic, passionate and challenging environment new staffs work in different branches which are being established countrywide.
Talking to journalists yesterday in Dar es Salaam, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ronald Manongi said the hiring information provided via online jobs pages and other social media outlets are false, misleading and intends to deceive the public. “The Bank has neither issued such an advert nor hired the said experts to do the hiring job on its behalf,” he said.
He cautioned the public and advised Tanzanians not to apply for the advertised jobs as such vacancies do not exist.
The Bank now wants the purported Consulting firm Quality Service Consultants to refute the false published information through same channels they used to publish it within 3 calendar days effective from today and explain clearly the source of the information or face further legal actions from the Bank.
The bank further urge Quality Service Consultants to explain how many of such advertisements have been made and issued to the public in the past, and disclose other culprits involved in publishing this false information without the consent of the bank and its management with an intention to mislead the public.
