A section of the bank’s staff and hundreds of enthusiastic football fans converged on the stadium to cheer the teams as they clashed horns in the competitive match that saw Exim Innovation Football Team, which played with high proficiency and harmony, emerge with a slim win.
The league, that sees more than 16 banks across Dar es Salaam City vie for medals and trophies, aims to strengthen the banks’ ties and friendship, regardless their status as competitors.
“Exim Bank Tanzania decided to take part in the league because this is a unique and a memorable opportunity acknowledging the importance of members of the banking industry in the society, appreciating their day to day dedications towards making the industry a better place,” Mr Greyson Malisa, the bank’s Assistant Human Resource manager spoke of the league that kicked off late November last year and scheduled to climax at the end of January.
“Special thanks goes to the team players who devoted their time, energy and skills toward this winning, I urge the players to continue with the same spirit in all coming matches so that we can emerge as the champion of this competition,” he concluded.
