EXIM Bank Tanzania has continued to widen its reach to customers in Tanzania by opening its new Extension Counter located at Lumumba Street in Dar es Salaam, a move that aims at providing outstanding services and convenience to the bank’s customers.
The Ushirika extension counter adds up to Exim Bank’s branch networks which continue to spread across the country.
Speaking during a brief inauguration ceremony in Dar es Salaam yesterday, Head of Operations Mr. Eugen Masawe said that the new branch will open up another avenue for Exim bank to offer its unmatched banking services to its ever-growing population of customers.
“We are very pleased to announce that the Ushirika Extension branch is officially opened. This is an ideal location for our customers, in terms of convenience,” said Mr. Masawe.
“We adopted a client-led strategy that drives us to the need of taking our services where our customers are concentrated.
“Dar es Salaam being the hub of Tanzania’s commerce and business, we witness a massive increase of customers who subscribe to our services from the region. With a range of 10 branches in the city, coupled with several innovative services, the bank is a step ahead to ensure that its customers meets their busy schedules by getting fast and excellent banking services from Exim Bank,” said Mr Masawe.
He pointed out that the bank’s strong roadmap will not only increase its balance sheet by many folds and multiplying its customer base, but also ensure that the bank reach different underserved markets in the country.
“We are planning to open several other branches across the country in the near future, The implementation of the roadmap will see Exim Bank taking its services closer to the bank’s customers,” he added.
