SMEs URGED TO ENHANCE NETWORKING

Mr. Louis Accaro, Tanzania Private Sector Foundation
Enterpreneurs in Tanzania have been urged to seek membership of a global organisations including the International Society for Small and Medium Enterprises (ISSME) to expand their network.
The advice was given by the ISSME Honorary Representative in Tanzania, Mr Louis Accaro when talking to journalists in Dar es Salaam on Sunday. Mr Accaro who is also a Director for Membership Services at Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) said that time is up for entrepreneurs in the country to connect with their colleagues abroad.
“It is crucial that our entrepreneurs start connecting with their fellows internationally to expand their businesses and learn new things,” he said, adding that becoming a member for ISSME can help achieve that. ISSME is an International Non-Government Organisation, with its headquarters at New Delhi, India.
It works with members, affiliates and partners across the world for promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). ISSME brings together policy makers, facilitators, experts, educators, researchers and small business enterprises from around the world.
It was created by the strong desire to develop a global association of small businesses and their supporting institutions for the sustainable and inclusive growth. Mr Accaro was appointed into the global association late last month.
