DAR ES SALAAM STOCK EXCHANGE WEEKLY MARKET REPORT

In yesterday’s trading session, Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) recorded a total turnover of TZS 6,434.33 million from 20,017,032 shares traded in 30 deals in comparison to the previous session which recorded a turnover of TZS 246.30 million from 101,464 shares traded in 73 deals. 

Meanwhile on the Government Bond Market Board, a five year 9.18% bond with face value of 3 billion was traded at 88.760% in 1 deal.

CRDB counter had 4,300 shares traded at weighted average price of TZS 310 ex dividend per share in 9 deals. NMB counter had 2,932 shares traded at weighted average price of TZS 3,100 cum dividend per share in 3 deals. TCC counter had 400 shares traded at weighted average price of TZS 10,000 per share in 2 deals. TBL counter had 1,300 shares traded at weighted average price of TZS 8,200 per share in 7 deals. DCB counter had 5,000 shares traded at weighted average price of TZS 490 per share in 1 deal. SIMBA counter had 2,400 shares traded at weighted average price of TZS 2,420 per share in 7 deals. NMG counter had 200 shares traded at weighted average price of TZS 3,100 per share in 1 deal. 

Foreign investors generated a total turnover of TZS 6,400.16 million from the purchase of 20,000,500 CRDB shares. On Pre-Arranged Crossing Board, CRDB counter had 20,000,000 

shares traded at TZS 320 per share in 4 deals. When the session was closed CRDB counter had 509,600 shares on bid at prices ranging from TZS 310 to TZS 295 ex dividend per 

share and 431,600 shares on offer at prices ranging from TZS 320 to TZS 330 ex dividend per share. DCB counter had 28,700 shares on bid at TZS 480 ex dividend per share and 120,800 shares on offer at TZS 490 ex dividend per share. NMB counter had 44,300 shares on bid at prices ranging from TZS 3,140 to TZS 3,020 cum dividend per share. TWIGA counter had 400 shares on bid at TZS 2,440 per share and 45,800 shares on offer at TZS 2,460 per share. TBL counter had 75,400 shares on bid at prices ranging from TZS 8,200 to TZS 8,140 per share. TCC counter had 6,000 shares on bid at TZS 10,000 and TZS 10,020 per share. SIMBA counter had 1,000 shares on bid at TZS 2,360 per share and 41,000 shares on offer at TZS 2,420 ex dividend per share. TOL counter had 126,100 shares on bid at TZS 400 and TZS 450 per share. TATEPA counter had 50,000 shares on offer at TZS 650 per share. SWISSPORT counter had 1,200 shares on bid at TZS 2,600 ex dividend per share and 53,400 shares on offer at TZS 2,700 ex dividend per share. MAENDELEO counter had 12,700 shares on offer at TZS 600 per share. KA counter had 2,400 shares on offer at TZS 990 per share.
