CRDB BANK SET TO OPEN NEW BRANCHES IN DRC

CRDB Bank is set to venture into the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) by opening a branch in some of the country's cities. According to Dr. Charles Kimei, Managing Director of CRDB BANK, CRDB intends to start with the establishment of a branch at Kivu and later on another one at Goma, to tap into the movement of traders who commute between the two towns and linking to Tanzania via Burundi and Zambia.

"There is money there but no banks and business men and women want financial services to aid and ease their transactions as well as to protect their hard earned cash" stated Dr. Kimei while speaking to the media over the weekend.
