The United Bank for Africa (UBA Bank Tanzania) has marked the climax of Customer Week Service by commenting customers and bank staff for their committed and hard work which has made the bank achieve a tremendous achievement to become one of the leading bank in the country.
Speaking during a ceremony to mark the climax of Customer Week Service in Dar es Salaam over the weekend, UBA Bank Tanzania Managing Director Gbenga Makinde said, ‘I take this opportunity to sincerely thank our customers as we mark the end of the International Customer Week Service. Your loyalty and trust is what has made our bank to achieve the achievements we are witnessing today’.
Makinde added, ‘I would also thank our bank staff for their hard work, determination, team work and dedication towards to their daily tasks of serving our esteemed customers. Our achievements are based on what you have been doing to keep our customers depending on us for their financial needs. On behalf of UBA Bank Tanzania management I comment you for that and call for continuous hard work which will keep our bank among the top banks in the country’.
Speaking at the same occasion, the banks Chief Operating Officer Flavia Kiyanga said that UBA Bank Tanzania has been heavily investing on digital services in order to make customers access banking services anywhere and anytime.
‘We have been supporting the government’s initiative on financial inclusion by launching Agency Banking services which enables customer’s access our services anywhere. In addition, we have been expanding our network by launching branches in the regions of Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha and Dodoma and we will keep expanding to other regions with an aim of reaching the most unbanked population in the country’, said Kiyanga.
