UBER AND TIGO TO BRING UBERCHOPPER TO RESIDENTS IN DAR ES SALAAM FOR ONE DAY ONLY

Dar es Salaam, 10th December 2018 - Uber in partnership with Tigo, have announced a giveaway that will provide a chosen few of their customers with a scenic birds-eye view of the landscapes of Dar es Salaam from a helicopter (chopper) at the tap of a button on Friday, 14 December 2018.

This once in a lifetime giveaway will offer a free 15-minute uberCHOPPER ride to 10 lucky Uber riders and 10 lucky Tigo users. To be part of the giveaway Uber riders will need to open their Uber app on Friday, 14 December 2018, between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:00am and request for a chopper from the uberCHOPPER view available in the app.

Meanwhile, Tigo customers using the Uber app will simply need to continue using any of Tigo’s services in this period and win exciting cash prizes in the ongoing Jigiftishe promotion, and celebrate this win by riding on the uberCHOPPER. Tigo is also offering all new users a free Uber ride worth TZS 4,000 in Dar-es-Salaam.
