Park Hyatt Zanzibar Hotel is the best location to experience Zanzibar Island. The hotel is uniquely situated at UNESCO Heritage site, Mambo Msiige, a building steeped in history and grace, dating back to the 17th century. Mambo Msiige which was built between 1847 and 1850 sits majestically on the beachfront. The hotel is housed in two buildings, one of them, Mambo Msiige which is a striking example of a traditional Zanzibari mansion with its Omani style arches, intricately carved wooden doors and cool courtyard, to escape the heat of Zanzibar on arrival. It is believed that the building’s strong and stable structure resulted from the soil used in the construction being mixed with thousands of eggs.
The Park Hyatt Zanzibar Hotel celebrated its three years of existence on 8th March 2018 and has quickly become one of the most popular destination for holidays for Tanzanians and tourists alike. The unique luxurious 5 star hotel is a gem that promotes Zanzibar and adds to the growth of local and international tourist visitors. Beyond the elegant, ocean front rooms and the spectacular terrace, where you can enjoy sundowners alongside sensational sunsets, the hotel also offers a unique dining concept with a range of authentic culinary delights, rejuvenating holistic spa treatments at The Spa, an outdoor infinity pool and a fully equipped fitness centre.
