Bank Tanzania announced that it has scrapped a host of transaction
charges on its FNB Gold Cheque Account customers as part of the bank’s effort
to give consumers more affordability and convenience.
The FNB Head

will give its customers an opportunity to transact on various banking services
as often as they like using a bundled pricing and without incurring extra fees.
“Clients
will only pay a sixteen thousand shilings flat rate on a monthly basis. This
will eliminate the pay per use arrangement whereby customers are charged upon
usage of every transaction. It is expected to significantly benefit the
customers by reducing their bank charges while giving them more savings.
This
is a milestone for our Gold account clients and one which will benefit all
clients. “he said.
The
arrangement extends to cash withdrawals at any ATM, TigoPesa payments, prepaid
