A US-based firm, Real Estate Maximum (RE/MAX) has introduced its service in the country, a move that is expected to improve operations of the industry, according to various stakeholders.
Speaking with journalists in Dar es Salaam, the East African Chairman of Real Estate Maximum (RE/MAX), Dr Ovunc Aslan, the firm aim at boosting professionalism.
"With several years of operating the real estate industry in other parts of the world we have a largest network, enough experience and modern training system, which we will use in improving the industry in Tanzania," he said.
"The country's population is growing faster and as it grows the demand for housing increases, thus there is the need to have a strong real estate industry that will accommodate the fastest growing population," he observed.
He went on to explain that RE/MAX International oversees a network of more than 100,000 agents in more than 90 countries with more than 7,000 offices.
"The network is made up of more than 137 regions, varying in size from a metropolitan area to an entire country and we need Tanzania to be part of it," he notified.
