CRDB Bank in Kahama, Shinyanga region has urged parents to build a culture of saving money for their children so that they can be able to achieve their future goals.
“We should use the opportunities available to ensure quality education for our children and protect them from the unpredictable future by opening Jumbo accounts for them,” Commercial Manager for CRDB Bank Kahama branch, Elibariki Kitoma said during the World’s Child of Africa Day which took place in the district.
Recognizing the importance of education, CRDB bank opens Junior accounts free of charge. The account is opened in the name of the child and managed by the parents or guardians until s/he reaches the age of 18 years, when the account is handed over.
According to Kitoma, it is the responsibility of parents and guardians to ensure children are given the opportunity to be educated and intellectually developed so as to be able to get development.
